I'm Etienne Chevrollier, a Data Engineer with a strong Software Engineering background, currently at papernest in Barcelona. Data reliability is the cornerstone of my expertise. I implement data contracts and strict schema validation to proactively anticipate anomalies before they impact downstream consumers, deploy alerting systems for proactive architecture monitoring, and build dbt models with rigorous software engineering standards systematically tested, documented, and version-controlled.
I build pragmatic internal tools designed around real-world usage: secure configuration editors enabling non-technical teams to orchestrate data flows without risk, visualisation platforms co-designed with business stakeholders, and AI-powered solutions to multiply workflow efficiency across both technical and non-technical teams.
